Fernando told it and the public realized that it was true, Maldito tried to deny it while Fernando and the public were furious and wanted to punish him, Maldito panicked and tried to escape but Fernando and the public surrounded him, escaping was useless, Maldito got trapped like an animal fighting for his life, he stumbled and fell, the mob was ready to finish him off, but El Caliente went ahead of them. The evil rooster panicked and attacked Maldito and cutting his throat with the hidden razors, cutting his jugular vein and making him bleed heavily, killing him and sending this cheater to Hell where he belonged. After avenging and giving justice to Corazón, Fernando and the mob left, leaving Maldito's corpse in the Arena.

Narrator: Abusing animals for entertainment has been around for a long time. With guys like Maldito out of the picture, maybe it won't be much longer.

Transcript[]

Narrator: The door opens on an illegal cockfight, and we enter a world filled with brutality, cruelty, and violence. And that's just the human side of it.

Crowd: (Cheers and shouts)

Fernando: Keep attacking

Narrator: Fernando had a wife and four hungry children to care for. He was hoping his prize rooster; Corazon, would help him put some food on the table.

Crowd: (Cheers and shouts)

Narrator: It was Fernando's bad luck that his opponent was a man known as "Maldito". Translation: The Wicked One.

Jules Sylvester: You'd think that a chicken would be a chicken, but they're not. They're purely territorial and pure aggression. They do not want another rooster in that area. They just never back down until one is dead.

Crowd: (Cheering and shouting)

Narrator: The fight was on. Maldito's bird, El Caliente, was a seasoned killer.

Crowd: (Shouting and cheering)

Narrator: It was obvious Corazon was outmatched. Soon enough, in a blur of claws and feathers...Corazon was dead. And Fernando was devastated. While the crowd erupted around him, Fernando grew suspicious. Something didn't feel right. Then he saw it. Tiny razors hidden on the back of El Caliente's talons. Maldito had cheated. Fernando spread the word.

Maldito: No! No!

Narrator: Soon enough, the crowd turned into an angry mob, looking for blood. Maldito's blood. There was no escape. Maldito was a trapped animal fighting for his life. He stumbled and fell, and the mob was on him. But El Caliente beat them to it. The vicious cock turned on its owner, slashing Maldito's throat with the hidden razors.

Trivia[]

  • This is one of the few deaths where it was fictional until someone actually died like this. In 2011, José Luis Ochoa died after being stabbed in the leg at a cockfight in Tulare County, California U.S., one of the roosters had a knife attached to its limb and cut off the leg of Ochoa. This true story was made in 2011 after this episode segment in 2009.
    • This would happen again in Out to Launch in which a similar death happened to a man named Tobias, curiously, the number of both deaths ends at 16.
  • On October 28, 2020, Filipino lieutenant and police chief, Christian Bolok, died in a similar manner. During a raid to shut down a cockfight that had been banned by the government due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bolok was trying to hold a cockfighting rooster but the razor-sharp metal blade attached to the rooster's leg to kill its opponent cut a gaping hole in his leg, severing his femoral artery and causing him to bleed to death.
    • Of course, unlike Maldito, the wound and blood loss was on the leg, not the throat.
  • Corazón is the first named animal death in the series.
  • Maldito's death is similar to that of Leslie's death in Chain On You and Lumpy's death in Happy Tree Friends web series episode: "The Way You Make Me Wheel", Annie Phillips's death in the first Friday the 13th film, Botnick's death in Child's Play 3, and Admiral Robertson's death in Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan.
    • When we first see the CGI, the Season 2 Onward Deathcard Theme can be heard.
    • Maldito is also Spanish for the following: Damn you, F***ing, Accursed, Blasted, Pesky, Darned, Dratted, Ruddy, Cussed, Bally, Unblessed, Accurst
