1000 Ways To Die Wiki

"Fat Man In A Little Swing", Way to Die #141, is the second death featured in "Enter the Ferret", which aired on March 12, 2012.

Plot[]

A drunk, morbidly obese man named Fred bets his buddies that he can get into a baby swing at a playground. After he strips naked and lubes himself up, he squeezes into the swing, but gets stuck, and his buddies leave Freddy in the swing for the night. Fred tries to scream for help, but no one comes to his aid. Due to how extremely tight the baby swing is fitted around his waist, Fred got stuck and dies from sepsis due to a ruptured appendix, sending him to heaven where he can play on swings.

Transcript[]

Narrator: Fred struggled, but it was no use. The baby swing was literally squeezing the life out of him.

Narrator: Fred stuffed his blubber into a baby swing, and won his bet. But in the end, he was the biggest...loser.

Cast and Interviewees[]

  • Blake Everett - Fred (Lead: Intended victim)
  • David Moskowitz - Gambling Buddy #1 (lead)
  • J. Michael Briggs - Gambling Buddy #2 (lead)

Goofs[]

  • Anachronism: A 2008 Ford Escape is shown despite the segment taking place in 2002.
  • Errors in geography: In the German dub of the series, it said that it took place in Omaha, Nevada, despite Omaha being actually in Nebraska. It is one of the deaths to have an incorrect location in a dub with the other being Die Laughing, which had the same mistake in the German version.
