1000 Ways To Die Wiki

"Kung Pao Pow!!!", Way to Die #365, is the third death to be featured in "The One About Dumb People Dying", which aired on February 8, 2011.

Plot[]

With Mainland China's population being estimated at 1.4 billion people, the deceased end up at a mandatory crematorium run by Chung Lee, who is also a corrupt thief and grave robber. He would strip a dead body of anything of valuable and then put them in the burning chamber so they can be burned into ashes. His next deceased person was a man with the surname of "Wang", who died of what was believed to be a lightning strike two days earlier, as his burn wound near his heart appears to resemble one. Chung relieved Wang's body of his gold-capped teeth, and set the body in the burning chamber. Less than a minute after he does so, the chamber suddenly explodes, blasting the metal door off its hinges with enough force to decapitate Chung's head clean off his body.

It turns out that Wang didn't die from a lightning strike after all. but instead was killed after being struck by a piece of a weather rocket, launched in response to a month-long drought. The canister that was supposed to release rain-inducing silver iodide into the atmosphere failed to detonate, and had instead hurtled itself back down to Earth, finally landing and embedding deep in Wang's chest as he was merely walking by. Little did Chung know, the explosive was still embedded deep in Wang's chest; when the flames in the chamber activated, the canister finally heated up and detonated, sending the greedy grave robber to hell where he belongs.
