"Hummus Among Us", Way to Die #267, is the second death featured in It's a Dead, Dead, Dead World, which aired on July 15, 2012.
Plot[]
Two Libyan rebels, Habib and Hadal, who were rejoicing in their country's newfound independence, met up with two Al-Qaeda operatives. When they got inside the shop, Habib and Hadal offered to sell a cache of weapons, government stockpiles and hummus. With the two Al-Qaeda operatives itching to get back to killing infidels, Habib and Hadal figured to seize that chance. Habib initially offers everything and a shot gun for free at a price of $5,000, but the Al-Qaeda operatives demanded a price of $2,000. The negotiations went on, and then Habib offered everything at just $3,500 plus two barrels of hummus, but the Al-Qaeda operatives refuse to pay more than $3,000. So, Habib has Hadal fire an AK-47 as a demonstration, who aims it at an image of Gaddafi, but when he pulled the trigger, he lost control of it and it started firing randomly while the others fall to the ground to avoid it, with some bullets making holes in a hummus barrel.
When Hadal manages to stop the AK-47, Habib, who is recovering from the ground, gets mad, starts hitting him and snatches it away from him, and then, everyone noticed something wrong with the hummus barrel. Hadal thought the hummus was smoking and Habib tried to assure the Al-Qaeda operatives that they had plenty of hummus, but one of the Al-Qaeda operatives told him that it was gas, not hummus. But it wasn't just any gas, it was sarin and mustard gas, both of which are lethal. The contents spew out and fill the shop with mustard and sarin gas, killing everyone as the contents are entering their noses, forming blisters on their skins and around their bodies, affecting their respiratory systems, attacking their central nervous systems, and causing them to lose their muscle control, leaving them to urinate, defecate and suffocate to death.
Transcript[]
(the segment starts with the introcard showing a photo of Hadal firing an AK-47 before the words "Date: October 21, 2011" and "Location: Benghazi (misspelled as "Bengahzi"), Libya" are typed out around it)
(a Mercedes Benz driven by two Al-Qaeda operatives drives by and parks as two Libyan rebels, Habib and Hadal, step outside of a shop and hug the operatives)
Narrator: Habib and Hadal are a couple of Libyan rebels rejoicing in their country's newfound independence.
Hadal: Come here.
(Habib and Hadal lead the Al-Qaeda operatives into the shop)
Narrator: Not because it freed their people...
(cuts to inside the shop full of weapons as Habib, Hadal and the Al-Qaeda operatives step inside, while the operatives take off their sunglasses and put them onto a table.)
Narrator: ...but because it allowed them to cash in.
Hadal: Welcome to my candy shop. We have guns. We have rocket launchers. 45-caliber.
(while Habib and Hadal explain to the operatives about their deal as the latter two check out what is on sale...)
Narrator: After the real rebels chased Gaddafi and his loyalists out of town, these two guys picked up the spoils:
(cuts to another room showcasing two AK-47 rifles on sale and two barrels supposedly labelled as containing hummus)
Narrator: Government stockpiles of weapons and food.
(back to Habib...)
Habib: Okay, if you buy this one, I give you this one for free; a shotgun.
Hadal: For free!
(As the explanation of the deals continue, the 4 men checked into another room in the shop as Hadal shows the operatives one of the AK-47 rifles)
Narrator: And with two Al-Qaeda operatives itching to get back to killing infidels, Habib and Hadal figured to make bank.
Hadal: (inaudible), fully automatic!
Al-Qaeda Operative #1: How much all these?
Habib: Everything you see; $5,000.
(the operatives refuse to believe it)
Narrator: The negotiations went back and forth...
Al-Qaeda Operative #1: $2,000.
Narrator: Until Habib threw in a local delicacy.
Habib: I give you everything $3,500, and 2 barrels of hummus.
Al-Qaeda Operative #1: $3,000 and that's it.
(as Habib convince the first Al-Qaeda operative while the latter refuses to believe it either)
Habib: (to the Al-Qaeda operatives) Okay, wait, wait, wait. (to Hadal) Show 'em how it works.
Narrator: There's only one way to close this deal.
Hadal: This is how we do it in Benghazi!
Habib: Oh come on, shoot it. Shoot it.
Hadal: (aims the AK-47 at a photo of Gaddafi and prepares to shoot it) GADDAFI!
(Hadal pulls the trigger but loses control of the AK-47, causing it to fire randomly in multiple directions, while the other 3 men fall to the ground to avoid it, but in the process of Hadal firing the AK-47, he accidentally shot a barrel of hummus, causing some holes to made on it.)
(Hadal stops the AK-47, and as the 3 men recover, Habib angrily hits Hadal and snatches the AK-47 away from him)
Narrator: The guns worked...
(cuts to the same hummus barrel Hadal accidentally shot, spewing out what appears to be a chemical gas as the 4 men notice what is wrong with it)
Narrator: ..but it was the chemical weapons stashed in the hummus barrels that got everybody's attention.
Hadal: This... hummus is smoking!
Habib: Don't worry, we have a lot of hummus.
Al Qaeda Operative #2: No hummus. This is gas.
Narrator: Not just any gas; a lethal combination of mustard and sarin gas.
(all 4 men start coughing in the shop as blisters are formed all around their skins, lasting all the way until they all drop dead onto the floor, succumbing to suffocation from both gases)
(CGI)
David Svoboda: Mustard gas is lethal, and will kill you from blisters from around the body, and down the throat and lungs. Sarin gas kills very quickly; attacking the central nervous system, and causing a loss of muscle control. You urinate, defecate, and eventually... suffocate.
(recap, going through every crucial part of the segment possible, from Habib and Hadal explaining to the operatives about their to deal, to the scene where Hadal accidentally shot a gas barrel mislabeled as containing hummus)
Narrator: Habib and Hadal were a couple of gun runners who thought they'd make a killing. Instead, they shot up a hummus barrel...
(Habib and Hadal seen coughing and suffocating, then cuts to the scene filled with both gases, obscuring the view of the 4 men lying dead on shop's floor)
Narrator: ...and got some bad gas.
(the segment ends with the deathcard, showing an image of the lifeless Hadal and a hardly-discernable view of the deceased second Al-Qaeda operative before the words "Way To Die #267" and its segment title "HUMMUS AMONG US" appear around it)

Trivia[]
- This is the only way to die number that ends with 67 and is the second and final death to take place on October 21 of a certain year, the first one is Micro-whacked. Coincidentally, both segments that took place on October 21 of a certain year leave not a single survivor behind, and while in this segment, it features the death of two Libyan rebels and black market arms dealers (Habib and Hadal) together with two Al-Qaeda operatives, Micro-whacked however features the death of a serial and impatient drug abuser alone (Dennis).
- This is the final death to feature a person portrayed by Iyad Hajjaj and be interviewed by David Svoboda.
- This is the first and only death to take place in Libya and the final segment in the series to feature the death of a terrorist.
- This is also the final terrorist-related death to end with every single person dying in it after Tali-Bombed and Gone Fission, and also, the final death to have this outcome where all of the victims featured are male.
- It is based on massacres and attacks with this weapon.
- This death has the most number of victims in the whole of Season 6, having four of them dying.
- The car driven by the two Al-Qaeda operatives as seen in the beginning of the segment appears to be a Mercedes Benz.
- As obvious due to it taking place on October 21, 2011, this death takes place just a day after Gaddafi's death.
- This is also the final death in the series that is caused by the mishandling of an AK-47 rifle after Ji-Had It Coming.
- When everyone noticed something was wrong with the hummus barrel, it turns out that the barrels actually contain mustard and sarin gas (meaning that either Habib and Hadal presumably mislabeled them in preparation of the sales, or someone else mislabelled them while Habib and Hadal agreed to carry out such a sale and not know what it truly is until the day itself). In stores, hummus has never been sold in barrels, but in cans and bottles.
- This, along with The Depart-dead and Cult Evaded are tied for the second highest amount of deaths in a segment.
