"Harmored Car", Way to Die #350, is the first death to be featured in "Dirt Nap", which aired on November 8, 2011.
Plot[]
Eddie and Tyrone were two dangerous, heavily armed, first-time criminals, pulling off their first armored truck heist, but they made a couple of rookie mistakes: first, the armored car they were stealing from was stopped on an active street and a nearby pedestrian phoned 911, then, they took too long to tie up the guards, giving authorities plenty of time to answer.
Bob Davidson: There have been approximately 131 armored car guards killed during robberies. Those that are trying to hijack them are heavily armed.
Their plan did not include getting caught in a fire fight with the police, while Tyrone resisted and fired, Eddie acted like the coward he was, ran away and hid inside the armored truck, then he looked stupidly at the door and Tyrone was shot in the chest, impact threw Tyrone backwards and he slammed into the door, which closed on Eddie's neck, then the police ran towards Tyrone, who should have died from the bullet, but survived, thanks to a Kevlar bulletproof vest, five times stronger than steel, the police apprehended Tyrone, who was later sentenced to life in prison, but then the police went to look for Eddie and were surprised to find him dead.
Dr. Vyshali Rao: When this 300-pound door hit this man across his neck, the cervical spine vertebrae would have been shattered. Once the spinal cord becomes severed, all connection between the brain and the human body is gone. Your breathing would stop. Cardiac arrest would happen. In this case, this man would be dead within seconds.
Sending this stupid coward to Hell for the robbery attempt.
Narrator: The botched robbery attempt got Tyrone life in prison. His cowardly partner, Eddie, got a stiffer sentence: death.

Eddie: Hands on your head now!
Tyrone: In the truck!
Narrator: But then they made a couple of rookie mistakes. First, they picked a busy street and a pedestrian called it in. Then, they took too long tying up the guards, giving the police enough time to respond.
