On July 5, 2007, at Statesvillee Prison, in Albuquerque, NM. An inmate being executed by lethal injection initially does not react to the chemicals that were injected, because the strap restraining his arm is acting as a tourniquet. When his restraints are undone, he confronts the witnesses. But before he can do anything, the poison takes effect, finally killing him.

On October 19, 2005, at Hillendale Ranch, in Tooele County, UT. A mentally unstable man attaches jumper cables to a cow heart he bought from a slaughterhouse and tries to use it as a sex toy. At first, he attached the cow heart to a car battery, but when it did not work for him, he tried hooking it up to a 110-volt wall socket, and he gets electrocuted.
