A News Helicopter crashes into a building in New York City on May 4, 2004. It is the twelfth escaped death in 1000 Ways to Die.

How it unfolded[]
A news team of NBC is back on it's way to the headquarters until the helicopter suddenly started to freak out. The reporters, who film the fate of many victims, now become victims themselves when the blades hit the roof of a building and break down the entire helicopter. Reporter Shannon Sohn, who's inside another news helicopter, records the entire disaster and fears that her husband, who's also a reporter, might be in that wreck. She was relieved that her husband was not inside the helicopter and the crew, that went down with the chopper, survived the crash practically unharmed.
