1000 Ways To Die Wiki

"Tow F.U.", Way to Die #462, is the second death featured in "Die-abestic", which aired on February 1, 2012.

Plot[]

Have you ever had your car towed, guys? It's unbearable, isn't it? And it could be worse, Dave, was a tow truck driver and a scammer who put up fake "No Parking" signs to illegally tow people's vehicles and later he cheat the unsuspecting motorists into overcharging them to release their vehicles or perform any other service.

Dave went around scamming innocent people, but then he met a real damsel in distress, her car started smoking and Dave charged $400 to help her or be left to her own devices. The woman accepted and Dave took the hook to tow the car but he was so focused on the attractive woman that he accidentally hooked the hook on the car's steering link instead of the frontal tow hook.

He started towing it and all of Dave's bad karma came back at him in one fell swoop.

The link broke and the heavy tow hook went flying towards his head with a release tension of 200 pounds, the iron hook hit Dave hard on the right side of the head, breaking his skull, causing him to immediately faint and very quickly die, leaving the woman horrified.
