Set out to commit a large-scale crime, three thieves plan to rob a pizzeria in a busy Friday night. The place was Pizza Venti, a pizzeria that opened just months ago. Those robbers were Dex (Leader), Jay (Muscle-head) and Leo (Rookie). None of them were above 30 yr, with Dex and Leo being the oldest and youngest ones respectively.
When they were ready, the trio enters the pizzeria, brandishing weapons, and demands the cash from the register. As Dex and Jay corner the female server, she spots a kitchen knife on the counter and seizes the opportunity. She lunges at Jay, slicing his arm and causing him to drop his gun, while also bleeding. The clatter of the weapon on the floor startles Dex, who turns to see Mario appearing from the kitchen, gun in hand. Mario opens fire on Dex, hitting him in the chest. Leo, now the only robber left standing, turns to flee, only to find a teen delivery boy blocking the exit. Rico, the teen's name, fueled by adrenaline and the desire to protect his little sister, tackles Leo to the ground. While the police are called, Dex is pronounced dead at the scene. Leo and Jay are taken to the hospital, with severe injuries and would later be arrested on charges of attempted robbery, armed robbery and resisting arrest.
