"Velvet Dope", Way to Die #272, is the first death featured in "Death Takes A Vacation", which aired on November 14, 2011.
Plot[]
Benny, an ex-con who works as a bouncer at a club, allows people in under two conditions: if they have cash, or if they have the looks. Two friends, Adam and Sam, try to get in, but Benny pushes them to the end of the line. Two hours later, Adam and Sam are back at the front of the line but are denied by him once again. Adam, aggravated, provokes Benny, sending him into a fierce rage. During the brawl, Adam brings down the support beams of a nearby awning, resulting in one of the beams impaling Benny's skull and crushing his brain, killing him instantly and sending him to hell.
Transcript[]
(Beauty Forgery is muffling)
Narrator: Club hopping can be a frustrating experience.
Benny: You two. Front the line now.
Adam: What?
(Beauty Forgery is now clearly heard)
Narrator: At this one, to make it past the velvet rope, you have to make it past Benny the bouncer.
(Benny lets the couple in the club who were in the middle of the line)
Adam: Hey. Wha- What the-
([] is playing)
Benny: Hold on.
(Benny lets another couple in)
Narrator: For this intimidating ex-con, money, definitely talks.
(Massive Hip Hop Sex is playing, Benny chooses a woman in the middle of the line to let in the club)
Narrator: It also helped if you were smoking hot and flashed a lot of skin.
(Suspense Procedural is playing)
Narrator: If you were Adam & Sam, just another couple of dudes looking for fun, good luck.
Adam: We've been a lot.
Benny: What part of hold on, don't you understand? Go to the back of the line.
Adam: What??
Benny: Go to the end of the line!
Narrator: Benny's hair trigger temper was a brick wall.
(Magician Suspense is playing)
Brian Colding: Here are the two types of bouncers: You have the guy... who did not make the cut in the NFL, and he's mad at the world. Then you have the guy that could not pass the police test. Anytime we had an upscale crowd, they would purposely pick on anybody they could identify as a college boy. One day, a guy's trying to get in, so the bouncer reached across, and snatched the guy over the rail, and was about to pound him!
(String Death is playing)
Narrator: Finally, after a 2 hour wait, Adam & Sam are back in front.
Adam: Are we next?
Benny: Go to the end of the line.
Adam: (Nervously laughs)
([] is playing)
Benny: Oh, I'm a joke now?
Adam: Really?
Benny: I'm a joke?
-Adam: I'm sorry if I mean... I'm supposed to meet somebody, man...
-Benny: Are you touching me?!!?!
(Benny punches aggressively Adam's waist)
Benny: Are you touching-!!???!
Narrator: Once Benny goes off,
(Benny pushes Adam around)
Adam: I'm sor-
(Benny eventually pushes Adam into a bar holding up the awning)
Benny: DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH ME, MAN!!!
(Adam gets pushed in the awning bar)
Narrator: there's no stopping Mr. Anger Mis-Management. Until...
([] is playing)
Benny: DON'T TOUCH ME, MAN!!! DON'T TOUCH ME!!!
(After Benny pushes Adam, Adam falls with the awning bars and impales Benny's brains)
Benny: (Gasps)
People: (SCREAM OF HORROR)
(Benny gets impaled and falls sitting down and dies; CGI awning impales the human's head and crushes the brain, Future Worlds Music is playing)
Dr. Steven Burstein: Falling awning enters in the brain tissue. Driving fragments of bone into the brain tissue. Destroying its associated blood vessels. Bleeding occurs, as a consequence respiratory function ceases. And you basically left in a vegetated state, and ultimately the subject dies quickly.

Narrator: The club scene can be exasperating,
Benny: You two.
Narrator: unfair
Benny: Go to the end of the line!
-Adam: I'm supposed to meet somebody, man...
-Benny: Are you touching me?!!?!
(Benny punches aggressively Adam's waist, pushes him with the bars)
Narrator: and for an agro-bouncer like Benny...
(After Benny pushes Adam, Adam falls with the awning bars and impales Benny's brains)
People: (SCREAM OF HORROR)

- Benny's death is similar to that of Lumpy's death in Happy Tree Friends web series episode, "Get Whale Soon".
- This death is similar to Fansicle, since both victims died sitting perfectly straight up.
