"War-done", Way to Die #253, is the seventh and final death to be featured in "Think Globally, Die Locally", which aired on March 19, 2012.
Plot[]
Behind the strict demeanor and aggressive leadership of no-nonsense Ohio Women's Prison warden Hadley, is a sadistic, heartless, misogynistic, and abusive personality. Feared by inmates, corrections officers, and other prison staff alike, Hadley is also known to belittle anyone even for the smallest mistakes. This was demonstrated one day when he severs all forms of outside communications from the convicts and bans other activities such as sports and yards, upsetting them.
On one occasion, Hadley confiscates a box of cupcakes meant for a convict, and eats one with blue frosting, not knowing it was laced with PCP. He begins to imitate the actions of his beloved German Shepherd, Bear. Soon, he begins to have a fit of rage where he smashes and throws objects, marches like a soldier, and even threatens to attack the other guards checking on him. Hadley dives off his desk, and one of the guards rolls a flash grenade into his office, hoping to calm the situation down. The guard accidentally rolls it too close to Hadley's face, and despite his attempts to blow it away from his direction, it goes off, blowing open his skull and frying his face, killing him instantly, and sending the sadistic and abusive warden straight to hell where he belongs.
